Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of EZBZ Marketplace (“EZBZ”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, browsing listings, buying, or selling, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Who may use EZBZ

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your password secure, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. What EZBZ is — and is not

EZBZ is a marketplace venue. Some inventory is sold directly by EZBZ; the rest is listed by independent third-party sellers. For third-party listings, the contract of sale is between you and that seller. We are not the manufacturer, importer, or distributor of those goods and do not take possession of them.

4. Deal Score™ and price comparisons

Deal Score™ is an automated estimate calculated from the listing price, stated retail price, comparison pricing, and item condition. It is provided for convenience only, is not an appraisal, guarantee, or promise of value, and may be out of date. Comparison prices reflect the price observed at the time shown and change frequently. Always review the listing, photos, and condition before buying.

5. Buying

  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when payment is authorized and confirmation is sent.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout.
  • Inventory is limited and often one-of-a-kind. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will cancel and refund that item.
  • Fulfillment options vary per listing. Some offer delivery, some local pickup, some both — the available options are shown at checkout.
  • Condition grades (New, Like New, Good, Fair, Salvage) describe expected wear. Liquidation, open-box, refurbished, and salvage goods may show cosmetic imperfections and may not include original packaging or accessories unless stated.

6. Selling

Sellers must apply and be approved, complete payment onboarding, and pass identity verification before listing. As a seller you agree that you:

  • Own the items you list and have the right to sell them
  • Describe condition, defects, and included accessories accurately
  • Use photos of the actual item, not stock imagery of a different unit
  • Honor your listed price, stated handling time, and fulfillment options
  • Do not list counterfeit, recalled, stolen, hazardous, or otherwise illegal goods

EZBZ charges a commission on completed sales, disclosed at the time of listing. We may remove listings, withhold payouts pending investigation, or suspend selling privileges for violations of these Terms.

7. Payments and payouts

Payments are processed by Stripe. By buying or selling you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms. Seller payouts are released on the schedule shown in your seller dashboard, less commission, refunds, and any amounts withheld for disputes or chargebacks.

8. Returns, refunds, and disputes

Report a problem with an order — item not received, materially not as described, or damaged in transit — through our support channels promptly after delivery or the expected delivery date. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method or issued as store credit. Items sold as Salvage, and clearance items marked final sale, may be non-returnable except where the item is materially not as described. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Prohibited conduct

  • Posting false, misleading, infringing, or unlawful content
  • Fraudulent purchases, payment fraud, or chargeback abuse
  • Manipulating Deal Score™, reviews, badges, or search ranking
  • Transacting off-platform to avoid fees or buyer protections
  • Scraping, automated data collection, or interfering with the service
  • Harassing other users, sellers, providers, or our staff

10. Your content

You retain ownership of the listings, photos, videos, and other content you submit. You grant EZBZ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, resize, and promote that content in connection with operating and marketing the marketplace. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload.

11. Service providers and the Help Board

Service providers listed on EZBZ are independent businesses, not employees or agents of EZBZ. Verification and background-check badges reflect checks performed at a point in time and are not a guarantee of quality, safety, or outcome. You are responsible for your own due diligence before hiring. Help Board contributions are voluntary and are not tax-deductible charitable donations unless expressly stated.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listing information, Deal Score™ values, or comparison prices will be accurate or current.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EZBZ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EZBZ and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your use of the service, your content, the items you sell, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using EZBZ at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or engage in fraud or abuse. Obligations that by their nature should survive — including payment obligations, content licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification — survive termination.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated by email or on the site. Continuing to use EZBZ after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
